Kpler LPG Interesting Moves (Released on 8 January 2016)

  • 2 VLGCs are due to load in Bethioua this week that are expected to discharge Far East:
  • Statoil’s Gas Star is currently loading a full propane cargo.
  • Total’s Hellas Serenity is expected at the port on Jan. 11th to load propane as well.
  • In new build news:
    • UNIPEC’s Commander loaded at Enterprise and is signalling a discharge in Chiba on Feb. 16th.
    • Astomos’s Legend Prosperity has left Nagasaki and is currently on her way to load her maiden cargo in Houston with an ETA of Feb. 8th.
    • IOC-fixed Challenger loaded in Ras Laffan on Jan. 6th and is heading for Mangalore.
    • Total’s Hellas Gladiator has left Korea and is heading towards Singapore.
    • Shell’s Sea Bird loaded her maiden cargo in Nederland on Jan. 4th and is currently anchored outside the port waiting for instruction.
    • Another Shell vessel, Hellas Poseidon, is expected to load her maiden cargo in Nederland on Jan. 12th.
    • Petredec’s Chaparral loaded via STS at Balboa on Dec. 18th and is currently on her way to Chiba.
    • Petredec’s Pampero loaded propane in Enterprise on Dec. 29th and is headed East.
  • Aquamarine Progress loaded a cargo in Escravos on Dec. 24th for the first time within the last 2 years. She is currently discharging a propane cargo in Suape and is expected to head to Salvador afterwards.
  • BW Havis loaded in Enterprise on Dec. 24th. Instead of heading to S. America or E. Africa as she normally does, she has passed through the Panama Canal and has been fixed by Vitol to discharge in Chiba.
  • Breeze has been fixed by Vitol for her first voyage outside of the Persian Gulf-India route. She loaded propane in Enterprise on Nov. 21, and although her latest AIS is signalling a discharge in Sakaisenboku, she appears to be headed towards Niigata instead.
