Kpler LNG Interesting Moves (Released on 5 January 2017)

Diversions:

Shell’s Maran Gas Achilles, loaded with a Sabine cargo, diverted en route to Asia and is now heading back towards Manzanillo, likely to deliver a tender cargo to CFE.
Maran Gas Mystras sailed to China’s Southern coast loaded from GLNG. She did not discharge, and has now diverted through the Malacca Straight and is entering the Arabian Sea.
2 Qatari cargoes initially heading towards India have diverted towards the Red Sea. Gas Natural’s Catalunya Spirit was forecasting Dabhol on her AIS, while Al Hamla was heading towards Goa.
Shell’s Sestao Knutsen was initially expected to cross the Panama Canal with her Sabine cargo. She is instead sailing around Florida and heading towards North America.

Newbuilds & Installation Startups
  • Turkey’s new Etki FSRU is receiving their first cargo aboard Statoil’s Arctic Discoverer.
  • Gas Natural’s Rioja Knutsen is approaching the Caribbean to load her commissioning cargo. According to market sources, she is expected to cross the Panama Canal mid-Jan.
  • After laying idle for a year, GDF Suez Global Energy is active and moving towards Grain, potentially for reloading
  • Angola LNG’s Soyo plant resumes production after December shutdown. Vitol’s Clean Horizon loaded the first cargo on Jan 2nd.

Interesting Moves
Corcovado LNG is delivering a 2nd SLNG December reload to KOGAS at Incheon, after Golar Seal delivered the first cargo to Tongyeong on December 20th
Galea is loaded with a partial reloaded cargo from Gate. She is crossing Gibraltar and entering the Mediterranean Sea
Cove Point received a January delivery from Bonny aboard Shell’s Madrid Spirit. This was the first Nigerian cargo there since 2013
The Henry Hub settlement price for January is set at $3.930
Offtakers on a 115%HH + 2.25 formula are expected to load at $6.77/MMBTU
