At Sabine Pass, we observed a decreased average send-in level at 1.12 Bcf/d this week. Train 3 has been down since the end of February during the last phase of commissioning, according to Cheniere officials.
We observe the higher activity for deliveries to South America. Shell’s Maran Gas Lindos is about to discharge her Bioko-sourced cargo at Escobar, ETA 9-March. This is the first delivery there since October 2016. Also, there is one cargo headed from Ras Laffan toward S. America on board Excalibur.
Since a pipeline explosion in River State close to Bonny LNG was reported on 23-February, we observed a decreased number of lifted cargoes WtW:
BP plans to stop production at the Tangguh terminal, Train 2 (3.8 mtpa capacity) from early April for two months. This indicates that the plant will run at 50% capacity.
According to an official release, APLNG plans maintenance on one of two trains (4.5 out of 9 mtpa total capacity) from 7 to 14 April. Kpler Analysts expect liftings to decrease by aproximately 4-5 cargos during the period.
At Montoir, Fosmax is planning a reduction in regasification capacity of 25% due to planned maintenance from 18-March to 7-May.
At Sines, operator REN plans to run a test on the terminal from 31-March to 1-April, which will give rise to 16 hours of potential shutdown to some parts of operations.
Diverted from Himeji, Woodside Donaldson is now discharging at Rayong MTP her Pluto-sourced cargo :
Angola LNG’s Cubal loaded a tender cargo at Soyo on 17-February and is delivering it to Incheon, ETA 17-March.
Sonangol Sambizanga is expected to discharge her tender cargo for Glencore to Fujian, ETA 27-March.
Gas Natural’s Ribera Del Duero Knutsen diverted from Aliaga on 25-February with her Sabine Pass cargo. The vessel is now discharging at Manzanillo.
Sonatrach’s Berge Arzew loaded at Bethioua on 2-March and is now discharging her cargo at Grain. Initially the vessel was signalling for Aliaga, ETA 6-March.
Engie’s Bw Gdf Suez Everett loaded at Atlantic LNG on 25-February and delivered a partial cargo to Ponce on 2-March. Now the vessel arrived at Everett to discharge the rest, ETA 8-March.
Shell’s Palu LNG loaded a cargo at Sabine Pass on 4-February and is now expected to discharge at Hazira, ETA 11-March.
Due to the Los Ramones Phase II South pipeline issues, Mexico is still relying on LNG Supply. USA is increasingly providing the terminal since shipments from Peru were discontinued in October 2016. Currently, three vessels expected to arrive: Stena Crystal Sky, ETA 9-March, Rioja Knutsen, ETA 19-March, and Cool Voyager, ETA 21-March. Also, Cheniere won a tender for three cargoes to be delivered to Manzanillo for CFE during March.
