Eligible Vessels for Sabine Pass
There are several ballast vessels heading toward the Americas with no clear destination:
Cheniere’s Oak Spirit delivered a Sabine Pass cargo to Joetsu Chubu for Jera on 6-January. This is the first delivery from Sabine Pass to Japan.
Also, Cheniere’s Stena Clear Sky is floating off of Futtsu, Japan to discharge her Sabine Pass cargo, ETA 14-January.
Engie’s Bw Gdf Suez Everett is currently discharging at Everett her Atlantic LNG – sourced cargo. The vessel was floating outside the terminal since 8-January.
There are several vessels that loaded at Sabine Pass and are expected to deliver to Europe or Middle East: Shell vessels Hispania Spirit and Sestao Knutsen are about to cross Gibraltar with no clear destination. Also, Shell’s Gaslog Santiago is expected to discharge at Aqaba on 23-January.
December LNG volumes crossed the Panama Canal hit record high. There was only one vessel crossing southbound, with the majority of vessels delivering to Far East.
